Costume Sizing Week
Costume Sizing week is when I, Miss Kiirsten, will personally measure each child so we can pick out the appropriate size costume for them. I measure the bust, hips, waist and girth and add an extra inch or so for growing room. Once I have measured every child I will then compare the measurements to a sizing chart to pick the appropriate size for your child. You have the option to let me choose the size or you may review the size chart and select the size you want. The time for you to come in to pick a size is 11/28 or 12/5 from 4:30-7:30 PM. If you do not come on that day, you are forfeiting your right to choose your child’s costume size and leaving it to me. Either way, there is a $10 exchange fee for any costume that is ordered and needs to be exchanged due to a sizing conflict. There is also a $10 fee XL & XXL adult costume.
A GREAT Holiday gift for your dancer is getting them their own personalized dance bag and/or sweatshirt!! Costs of bags are $25 for the small bag and $30 for the large bag. Hooded sweatshirts are $30. You can add your dancer’s name to personalize any of these items for only $10!!! We know some of you would like to keep this a surprise for a Holiday gift so please have us write on the order form that
it is a SECRET and we will only give you the items discretely. All orders must be submitted and paid by 12/1 to ensure their arrival for the Holiday. An order form is available in the office.
We will once again be participating in Fall River’s Annual Children’s Holiday Parade on Saturday 12/3! We will not have a float this year. Instead, we will just have our group of dancers perform a routine in the parade. Anyone in Int. Teal and up is welcome to learn a dance that we will be performing throughout the parade. The routine will be taught the night before, 12/2 at the studio from 5:00-5:30 PM. Please sign up ASAP in the office to ensure we have enough people to participate!
Make-Up Date for Saturday P/D/A Classes
Since the Holiday Parade is taking place on Saturday, 12/3, we will be holding Saturday P/D/A classes on Friday 12/2 instead. CREATIVE MOVEMENT 1B & 2B WILL STILL BE HELD AT THEIR REGULARLY SCHEDULED TIMES ON 12/3! There will be No Stretch & Strength on 12/3. The schedule for the 12/2 make-up dates are as follows:

Finale is open to students in Combo 1 & up. There will be a $25 fee to be in the finale. There will also be a costume fee of $65. You will be billed for both when you sign up. Practice times to be announced based on sign ups. TENTATIVE DATES are as follows: 5/5, 5/26, 6/9, & 6/23. Attendance to these practices is very important. Sign-up sheet will be posted by the office. Please note there will be a mandatory make up class required for every class missed. This will be an additional fee of $10 per class for material missed and the class will be 30 mins. IF YOU MISS 2 CLASSES YOU WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE FINALE. IF YOU CANNOT COMMIT, PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP! ALL FINALE FEES ARE NON REFUNDABLE!
ALL COSTUME MONEY IS DUE BY 12/19. NO EXCEPTIONS. Unfortunately, if your fees are not paid (INCLUDING TUITION), then I cannot order your child a costume and they cannot be in the Recital. Prices listed below. P/D/A Classes: costume money due by 11/19!

Please keep in mind these prices are cost per costume. Please see class descriptions for an accurate count of how many dances each class performs. There will be an additional $10 fee for an XL & XXL Adult costume. Costume money will be due December 17th. I know this is a tough time of year for people to be spending extra money but I will need to order the costumes in December to ensure their arrival. People have already begun to give deposits towards costumes to ease the final payment. There will be a $10 fee for a costume size exchange.
Otis orders will be available to pick up Friday, November 18th
at 3:30 PM. YOU MUST PICK UP YOUR ORDER THIS DAY! WE DO NOT HAVE THE CAPABILITY OF STORING AND REFRIGERATING COOKIE DOUGH. If you do not pick it up it will go bad. You will be assigned a 30 minute time block to come and get your cookie dough based on the first letter of your dancer’s last name. You can send someone else to get your cookie dough. If you do not come at your assigned time you will have to wait until everyone at that time block has gotten their order. The time schedule is listed below:
5:30-6:00 Anyone who cannot make their assigned time slots.

Lost & Found
Please check the lost and found bin under the bench in the waiting room. Items that are not claimed before the Holiday vacation will be donated.
Birthday Parties at PDA
Don’t forget we host Birthday parties for all ages at the studio! You can choose from themes such as “Ballerina”, “Disney Princess”, “Hip Hop”, “Rock & Roll”, “Tumbling Tots” or we can customize a party for you!!! More information in the waiting room!!!
